Good design of the system, using the scale on every Otiplan
file, ensures the label of every file is 'eye-legible' on the
opening drawer. This reduces search time and finger
sorting. After its use, a file is easily replaced as a gap is
created in the pattern.
Differentiation By Colour Coding
Containers are supplied in 9 colours and labels in 18
colours.
Through careful use of these colours, departmental records
cannot be confused and different subjects within a category can be
separated. Misfiling becomes obvious and easily
corrected.
Life-Long Maintenance Program
